This mosaic was made by combining 9 images. The images were taken between 19:45 UT and 20:45 UT, all with integration times of 0.1 s, in primary focus. Normally, it isn't possible to photograph the Moon in primary focus, because of its extreme brightness. The CCD chip will be saturated immediately. On this day, the Moon was very low above the horizon, and it was very hazy. This caused the Moon to be very dim, and red of color.
